Mei Lee Garden in Skowhegan

Have always had a good time and food at Mei Lee Garden. The staff is always curtious and friendly and they serve with a smile. Stopped in tonight with Mom for some take out and the food was great! Thanks again to the folks at Mei Lee Garden for sending us off with an excellent experience! Stop by if your in Skowhegan Maine and try it for yourself, I'm betting you won't be disappointed! Easy to spot from route 201 right next door to tractor supply and USCellular.

Good, but a little pricey for the area. Used to eat here as a child, and barely anything has changed since the early 90's..lol, take what you want from that. The food is OK, and the staff are friendly, but you could find better quality food at a better price few miles further in Madison at China Jade.Edit: China Jade's owners had to move and closed the business, so that probably makes Mei Lee the best it gets in the area now. Enjoy the applesauce "duck sauce".

Very clean, nice place. Alot more pricey than other Chinese restaurant in skowhegan. Crab dragoons aren't very good in my opinion.

Excellent service, substitutions were allowed, reasonable prices, clean.

Has it's ups and downs.Some days, the chicken is cooked just right, others it's overcooked and tough. Sometimes the breading is soggy and mushy, others it's cooked through and has a light crisp to it. Lunch prices are reasonable, dinner prices are high. So for what it is where it is, it's extraordinarily average.

I only get take-out from Mei Lee, so I can only comment on the food quality and pricing.The chicken in "Sesame Chicken" actually has a good flavor, although with every order there are a few pieces which are really tough and dry. The sauce is extremely sweet and fruity, which is good if you like candied chicken. The broccoli is usually tough and undercooked. The pork fried rice is consistently cooked throughout and always tasty.If you don't order before 3PM, you will have to order dinner-sized portions. A dinner of "Sesame Chicken" is just under $15 (that includes tax) and a large pork fried rice is about $8.50. Each is enough for 2 or more people. The chicken does not reheat well, but the rice does.

Only tried the egg Foo young and I've had better. To be honest I was very dissapointed . Service was a little slow.

Great crab rangoons. The best chinese I've had around here. One less star because I couldn't get a house fried rice substitute or side for less than $8.

We live out of state and every year we come here with family and have always been treated very well they make sure you have everything you need and are always very pleasant waitresses and the food is fabulous. If you want a great place to go you definitely need to stop by and enjoy .💕

Usually really good food, service is pleasant. I've had an off meal or two but when it's good it's good!

Took us 20 minutes just for the waitress. Then another 25 for our soup. Total took almost 2 hours of NON service to eat dinner for 2. There were 2 big parties, but they had their food when we got there. Food very VERY bland, service sucks, I won't be back. We were real close to walking out when our soup arrived. I wish we had.
